ALT Graphic - Tech Talk by 9elements. We present the big and complex project MedMile. MedMile is a micro-learning platform for the medical domain. Improtant Buzzwords are: Rails, Stripe, Video and Web Application
ALT 1. No need to leave the browser The web app covers the entire process - From recording the courses to consumption, all the way to sending the CME points to the Medical Association.
ALT 2. Centralized payment solution Different payment providers, B2C subscriptions, and B2B contracts for volume licenses - All managed by a single system handling transactions, invoices, and bookkeeping.
ALT 3. Seamless transition from MVP to scaling application Complete migration of existing data from a previous WordPress MVP to the new app, including users, subscriptions, courses, and videos - All with zero downtime.

To allow eager loading scoped associations that require a parameter in my #Ruby on #Rails #ActiveRecord models, I use a global store to provide the info I need. It's a bit clunky, but Preloaders would not allow chaining.
