Under the @AskGovSRM-Ghana initiative, Dr. Portia Adade Williams led a powerful Capacity Building Webinar on Nov 1, 2024.
The theme: Understanding SRM-Knowledge, Governance, & Ethical Considerations explored crucial insights for Ghana's climate strategy!
Incredible insights were shared by Dr Kwesi Quagraine (National Center for Atmospheric Research & UCC) and Prof. Samuel Essien-Baidoo (Dean, UHAS),
sparking engaging discussions on SRM ethics and governance. This event lays the groundwork for a sustainable climate future in Ghana.

CSIR-STEPRI organised a workshop on the impacts of innovation & SME support in Ghana! Key findings: NEIP boosts MSME performance but needs better regional & gender inclusion. Key recommendations: innovation hubs, inclusive financing, & public-private partnerships.
3. "More subsidies on digital technologies". Esoko has a service called "grains for phone" where farmers are encouraged to trade some of their grains for mobile phones and are further enrolled on e-extension services.
4. Data cost is very expensive which hinders the use of digital services. When this is looked at, the flow of information in agriculture in Ghana will be fastened and farmers will be able to rely extensively on e-extension services
