100% THIS. Huge amounts of money, eyewatering sums, also wasted. Make it stop. Make it make sense.
Whilst the country watches as ministers and cabinet staff start to resign. Again. The reality for those seeking justice, truth, and constructive outcomes for their campaign; for example @atomiclabrats and @ChinookJustice, is that the process starts again. Another delay. Another wait for the new defence minster/team, Another meeting to explain who they are and why they're here, More emails, More paperwork, More trying to convince those in government that their loved ones and their suffering are worth the time and dedication, More promises, More waiting, More delays. More disappointment. And the cycle just goes round and round and round. Their lives on hold, whilst those who made the committments continue with theirs...... No truth, no justice, no accountability.

Today marks 9 years since the Grenfell Tower fire. But 9 years on, there is still no justice. 9 years on & people still live in unsafe buildings. We must not forget those killed because of dishonesty and corporate greed.

But you're not committed to ensuring this never happens again, are you Keir? Because some of the victims of Grenfell are just as much a part of @NowHillsborough as all other campaigners, and you STILL haven't ensured a Public Office Accountability Bill. You still haven't resolved this issue with the amendment in relation to Intelligence Services and you still continue to float on like you never made the pledge in the first place!!!!

This anniversary is tomorrow - 72 lives lost hundreds of people's lives changed forever and still no one has ever been held accountable. And money has been made around this tragedy- please support the Grenfell next of Kin.
The spin machine is already in full motion. While next of kin of those killed, continue to live with nightmares, a Grenfell industry has grown around our loss. We have to endure virtue signalling green hearts, balloons, doves and carefully managed messaging while the key legitimate questions of the actual next of kin are sidelined and silenced. Those of us who lost parents, partners, children and siblings have been systematically erased. Our concerns are buried and instead the narratives, set by the State through endirsed gatekeepers. Our voices are treated as an inconvenience. The people with the greatest stake in truth, accountability and justice are deliberately dehumanized and denied, while governments of different colours have preserved the same structures, the same gatekeepers and the same culture of managed grief, delayed and denied justice. What began under the Conservatives has continued under Labour. The faces changed; the deliberate system of denial of our existence and our rights did not. The lives we lost should never have been turned into a commodity. Yet hundreds of millions of pounds have flowed through contracts, organisations, consultants and projects. Handpicked individuals given State sponsored and funded platforms, promotion, and privilege, while the actual next of kin are denied agency, accountability and respect. Patronage, cronyism and corruption have flourished and taken hold. The SILENCED Walk is a symbol of failure. Most next of kin of the majority of those killed and the local residents stay away not because they have forgotten, but because we refuse to legitimise what's been going on. Absence is our only form of dissent. Do not tell us you are remembering our loved ones while ignoring what is OUR right to demand in OUR own family's names. If you will not listen to the next of kin of those killed, then stop claiming to honour our dead.@mhclg @SamanthaDixonMP @SteveReedMP @LondonFire @MayorofLondon @GrenfellTowerMC @metpoliceuk You have no right to claim our loss and commoditise and monetise and capitalise our loved ones' deaths. The annual "SILENCED Walk" is presented as an act of remembrance, yet for the next of kin and local residents it has become a symbol of everything that is wrong and that is why we do not ever attend. Year after year, hundreds of millions of pounds have been spent on gestures, branding and managed and controlled messaging. The majority of the next of kin of the majority of those who were killed and the local estate residents stay away because we refuse to legitimise a performance that is rooted in lies, control and corruption and speaks about us while deliberately excluding us. Absence is protest. Remembrance without accountability is theatre. Commemoration without truth is propaganda. All the systems and structures know all this. The Memorial people, the Council, the Ministers, the Met police, the LFB. They do not care. Because there's millions of pounds being made from the loss of our kin. And the level of profiteering is mind-blowing amounts. Total and persistent and shameless exploitation of our kin's loss of life and our ongoing grief.

We've had 14 Housing ministers since Grenfell fire. 2017. One worse than the other. With the brief exception of Angela Rayner who seemed to actually be on top of her work for a few months.

Being denied compensation 8 times is ridiculous! The Windrush compensation scheme needs to be moved away from the Home Office.
Hetticia, 70, was hospitalised twice in one month from the stress of dealing with the Home Office’s Windrush compensation scheme. ‘It has taken a toll on my physical health, my emotional and mental health’ She & her husband have been denied compensation a total of 8 times

As many of us predicted, the Windrush compensation scheme remains just as unfair and cruel with a commissioner. The Home Office will do anything but give justice!

Actually, we have a problem with you. I know you feel special and different, but just like Farage you're an ex banker turned politician, using racism to boost your career.
Britain doesn't have a racism problem, it has an immigration problem.

Out of all the British press, only 2 papers feature the crucial message from the family of Stephen Ogilvie on their front pages. Their statement came after homes in Belfast were torched by racists and families were forced to flee.

A friend just told me they watched a news segment on Belfast and racism wasn’t mentioned once. For editors out there in any doubt, when all Black people are targeted after the act of one Black person, that’s the definition of racism.

Notice the silence from Farage, Kemi et al. They can’t even bring themselves to condemn the violence which has also affected white people in Belfast who they claim to care about. Guess they’re just collateral damage in the culture war.

Survivors raised concerns about conflict of interest, lack of trust, and a scheme that has repeatedly been described as unfit for purpose. Those concerns have now been validated in writing. Yet the Commissioner’s refusal to act on them shows exactly why independence is needed:
