This National Cervical Cancer Prevention Week check the register and get screened!
According to the Health Service Executive (HSE) There’s no 1 way to stop you from getting cervical cancer.

However, you can cut your risk by:
* getting the HPV vaccine in school
* having regular cervical screening
* having treatment & extra tests when advised
* getting help to quit smoking
* Breastfeeding also reduces the risk of ovarian, uterine & endometrial cancer amongst others.

If you are age 25 to 65, the best way to protect against getting cervical cancer is to go for cervical screening when it’s due.
Please visit the HSE website or speak to your GP for more information.

The winning class was 2nd class at Gaelscoil Chluain Meala, Tipperary who won a visit to Áras an Uachtaráin for a tour, to meet Sabina, and to have a class photo.
