I once made a client (not publishing though, not sure how it works there) change this in my contract (and in how they added me to their system) but I shouldn't have had to.

Dear Publishers:
Paying an author through an e-payment system is fine.
Deducting fees for said system from the author's money is not.
If, by the contract, I was supposed to get $500 but I only get $475 because of fees ... I did not get paid my contracted fee.

Over the years, Bobby Horne, a 6'5" security guard, often pulled over to help people whose cars had broken down. He did it again on the elevated spur btwn I-95 and Baltimore. Two other cars crashed, sending him over the barrier into the waters below. Hero:

Providing accurate information is one aspect of good reporting. But especially around elections, good journalism MUST provide context and connect experts and explainers to their audiences.

A DNR is a personal decision.
