sorry to rant but it's also so tiring how men get surprised when a woman is good or plays any role besides support. like YES women play the same things you do, but they're more likely to be subtle about their gender in the hopes that they don't get treated differently.
the fact that some men can't fathom how these "jokes" actually reflect their views and harm others. like no it isn't funny and never was, why do women have to feel self conscious about their gender when they make up half the population and so much of the player base?

there is genuinely so much sexism in marvel rivals but men always choose to be ignorant about it or brush it off as a joke. there's a reason me and my friend don't use in game comms anymore. when we were both minors guys would be saying sexual misogynistic shit and it's tiring
