Today we celebrate #WorldFirstAidDay. This year’s theme emphasizes the crucial role of First Aid in climate-related disasters. Extreme weather events are on the rise, and timely first aid can save lives. People in disaster situations often sustain injuries and require lifesaving first aid. Training communities to respond to climate-related injuries strengthens resilience and ensures we’re better prepared when disasters strike. At the @IFRC, we encourage everyone to learn essential life-saving skills.

This milestone reminds us of IFRC network’s shared journey and the humanitarian principles that continue to guide us through more than 100 years of both triumph and turmoil. The unprecedented challenges of the 21st century demand new approaches. But what will remain constant is the unwavering commitment of our global network. The world may be at a crossroads, but our path forward is clear. We stand on the side of humanity. Thank you for your dedication. Here's to another 106 years of collective action.
