The plate isn't just a frame; its graphical surface texture directly enhances and interacts with the 2-bit glitches, lines, and digital artifacts seen in the video. Placemaking is the active integration of raw material and digital output requiring the right stage.

¹🪡 As a performance maker, I’m used to directing living bodies that breathe and adapt -but working with the latent space feels entirely different.. it’s heavy. I began working on 𝘓𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘦 thinking that I wanted to understand what computational exhaustion could actually feel like in the muscles. This isn't just a rendered image; it is a strict choreographic score. I don't just output the visual. "The Stacks" June 5th, 2pm CET / 8am EST 1/1, 1000xtz I’ve only made a handful of artworks where I can directly identify what inspired them. But this is one of them. This piece is inspired by @internetarchive 

For most of history, we sought out information ourselves, and we actively pulled it. We pulled a card from a card catalog. We pulled up a search result. We pulled a book off a library shelf. But as systems became more aggressive and controlling, we turned into passive receivers. We no longer pull information. It’s pushed at us. We’re pushed a notification. We’re served content. We’re fed by algorithms. Information is now something that’s DONE to us. And at this point, most of us are onto it. Which is why the information-pushers increasingly try to convince us that our passive consumption is active discovery. They’ve changed their language to reposition the user as the subject: “For you” “Discover” “Explore” The vast majority of information, painstakingly compiled by humanity, is not going to push its way toward us.
