I Am the Night: The Ultimate Unauthorized History of Batman: The Animated Series is both the story of the creation of a landmark cartoon (packed with new interviews with the folks who made it happen) and a deep dive into what it meant to both animation & the character of Batman.

Pre-order Daniel's book! Pre-orders are awesome! And buy his first book, too! It's about Pokemon. And pre-order his next book about Jurassic Park once it's available, too!!!
My book about Batman: The Animated Series is 7% off on Amazon. I don't know why it's 7% off or what equation you'd devise that says "Hey, a good sale would be to take off 7%. The people REALLY go for that," but it's 7% off so I thought you all should know. amazon.com/Am-Night-Ultimate…

Instead of a Wolverine game they should do a Beast game where Kelsey Grammer reprises the role. Also he’s not blue and he has a brother named Niles and he has to host the perfect dinner party for Seattle’s finest

I personally believe the main reason that we haven't had a modern dinosaur film that's better than Jurassic Park is because JP is all about how we see dinosaurs. I can think of few blockbusters that are as focused on reinventing how the audience perceives a subject.

For those who love anniversaries, this October will mark a staggering 17 years since the original 2009 release of my chiptune concept album based on Kazuo Umezu's THE DRIFTING CLASSROOM, approved (and held) by the late master himself! ⭕ moldiloxchips.bandcamp.com/a…

Anyway, I've been thinking about this film a lot lately for obvious reasons. But JP remains special because it's a film about us and giving us what we need to believe that, for two hours, we've been whisked to an island to get close to a T. rex.

And until another dinosaur film takes what JP did and says "No, THIS is what you need to feel the power of the dinosaurs," Jurassic Park will likely keep its spot.
