Again @NPR @LeilaFadel hosts a story about Israel with a questionable choice for interview to suit her agenda, utilizing producer Abu Bakr Bashir who finds a token anti Israel Jewish man rather than interviewing those that are truly representative of the sides at the Hague. Yikes

Today on @NPR @MorningEdition , @LeilaFadel interviews @mashagessen who dishonestly and misleadingly equates “antizionism” with “criticism of Israel” which is plainly dishonest. @LeilaFadel is not a neutral journalist, and @mashagessens whole interview is riddled with lies.

@NPR journalists and editors have such power and responsibility when it comes to who they interview and what they air, but they are unfortunately tending toward only exercising power. Looking for voices that confirm your biases, and tokenizing Jews to do that is racist.

Today’s Oakland K-12 teach-in calls for the destruction of Israel.
It lies about Jews, eg: Jews weren’t in Israel until 1948 (Jews have been there millennia) & only “white Jews” are welcome (3.2M Jews of color live there)
It’s straight-up anti-Israel/anti-Jewish indoctrination

@ConnDEEP @GovNedLamont @CTDems @CT_PURA - I was dismayed to find out that a major gas pipeline compression station is located 1900 from a middle school with the risk of burning children of an explosion should occur. You MUST reject the permit for its expansion.

This project was opposed initially with bipartisan support in Brookfield and is now attempting to more than double the pressure on the pipeline with no benefit to CT. It completely contradicts the carbon goals of the state (and NY), will harm the air, and puts our kids at risk.

Limited to no studies have been done to understand indoor air quality at the nearby middle school but similar studies in Ohio recently showed the health risks associated with this type of compression station. stations have a history of catastrophic exposing like Strasburg VA

Remote work is lower carbon. Fewer buildings needed, fewer miles driven, fewer cars, fewer highway lanes, less road maintenance etc. I look forward to companies that have esg commitments and wfh options being honest with themselves one day.

There is so much disturbed land to put solar on, cutting down forests is not the answer. Farm land is fair game because we overbuilt farm land for wasteful animal ag. Forests for solar however are only “cheaper” because environmental destruction is cheap
