Story of my life. Life expectancy keeps declining every day because of the things we consume and are exposed to directly or indirectly. Please read to the end. I recently fell ill and needed antibiotics for treatment, and to my shock, I was found to be resistant to almost every common antibiotic available. I don’t abuse drugs, I actually dislike taking medication, and I rarely fall sick. In the past 10 years, the only major antibiotic I’ve likely used is Ciprofloxacin, usually prescribed when I have malaria or typhoid. Amplicox tablets haven’t entered my system in over a decade, if I remember correctly, yet I still showed resistance to most common antibiotics. I was even prescribed Meropenem and Imipenem, very strong and expensive antibiotics. One ampule costs about ₦28,500, and I needed five doses. (Not like anything serious was doing me, just normal boil but it just keeps reoccurring at the very particular spot.) This experience made me curious about how antibiotic resistance develops. One major contributing factor is poultry products (chicken and eggs). In poultry farming, antibiotics are sometimes used to treat diseases in birds. When bacteria in these animals become resistant to the drugs, and humans consume contaminated or improperly handled products, it can contribute to the spread of resistant bacteria that are harder to treat. That is why we are always advised to properly cook meat before consumption. Now you know, share/repost this so others can learn too.

For years now, a woman usually comes to our house to fetch water whenever there's no light. We use generator to pump. She has 3 kids. She comes anytime of the day to fetch as much as she wants, no restrictions. I was driving by this morning, and I saw cassava peels in front of her house. She was sitting down outside, too. I asked if they belonged to her, she said yes. It was just a sack worth. I told her to allow me pack the peels for my goats. I packed the peels into the sack and was about to put it at the back of the truck, then she said "aunty we never talk money o." I was surprised, I asked how much, she said 1k. Wow! So I asked her, "The water you come to fetch everyday nko, do i ask you for any favor or anything in return? We open the gate for you and your kids any day, any time to fetch water, but you want to collect money for this one sack of cassava peels." She was just smiling. So I told her, if you collect this money, we won't let you fetch water again. Because we bought fuel with money too. She just smiled. I gave her the 1k, and she collected it. She even told me to return her sack. She probably think I'm joking about the water, but I've instructed them at home, no more fetching of water again. You don't have to be rich to give back to people who have been kind to you.

This is very true. What most of them fail to understand is that the more you engage people the more visible you become and the more people engage you back
I feel sorry for people who are at this time trying to grow their accounts. Nigerian twitter is the most difficult place to do that on the entire planet. Your followers would literally SEE your posts and ignore it and lie that they didn’t see it. Nigerians are generally ruthlessly dismissive of growth, except in cases where they want to deliberately platform idiocy.

Tax holidays can attract investment and reduce operational costs, but the real measure of success will be whether it helps build a sustainable aviation leasing industry, creates jobs, and lowers the cost of aircraft acquisition for Nigerian airlines. Incentives are good—results are better.✈️🇳🇬

In 1993, a shotgun blast shattered the wing of Malena, a white stork who from that day on could no longer fly. While the other storks migrated to Africa, she remained in Brodski Varoš, a small village in eastern Croatia. Taking care of her was Stjepan Vokić, a retiree who built her a shelter, fed her, and helped her survive the harshest winters. But what happened in the years that followed is what made this story famous around the world. Every spring, Klepetan, her mate, faithfully returned to her after spending the winter in South Africa. A journey of around 13,000 kilometers across Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Balkans, always ending at the same place: the rooftop where Malena was waiting for him. For 16 consecutive years, his return was documented without interruption. Together, they raised more than 40 chicks, even though Malena could not teach them how to fly. Every autumn, Klepetan would leave again with the young birds and head south. She stayed behind. And every spring, the skies brought Klepetan back to the same nest. For some, this story speaks of instinct. For others, of devotion. For everyone, it is a reminder of something that is difficult to explain with words alone. #copied

With good WAEC and stellar PUTME, you should be able to get admission. That said, you should know MBBS is hard as fuck. You can score 339 and still fail your first in course. I'm not trying to be a prophet of doom but medical school is hard, so you should know that. Also, I know this may be controversial but you want to distract yourself in med school as much as possible. Please don't do too much X or look at your seniors too much. They'd discourage you and you may not put in enough effort to pass. For on your studies, eating well and your religion. You can worry about everything else after graduating. Take care.

I run a black-market operation where I kidnap raw footage from its owners, brutally chop it into unrecognisable pieces, splice in fabricated evidence, and launder the doctored results through editing software before releasing the forged narrative to the public. Any surviving original footage is erased without a trace.
