I’m working on opening a retro video game, music and movie shop. And I’ll be doing something people always ask for - MOVIE RENTALS! Let’s prove physical media isn’t dead! Help me get this thing off the ground and create a retro physical media empire! gofund.me/308b9e833

The prequel to Solomon’s Key was a game I stumbled into by accident. I was a huge fan of the first game but by 1993 the NES was basically on its way out. Oddly renamed Fire ‘N Ice in the US, you’d never know this was actually Solomon’s Key 2. I rented it on a whim and when I started playing I was like, “Oh this is Solomon’s Key.” It’s more of a pure puzzle game than Solomon’s Key was but it’s really fun. There’s even a level editor that lets you design your own puzzles.
Solomon’s Key (NES, 1987).

Star Wars? Look, Tommy Boy is one of my favorite films so you’re wrong, the quote is correct.
This AMC has the wrong Star Wars Quote 😭

Come to think of it, I’ve easily watched Tommy Boy more times than Star Wars.

It bothers me that not a single character in Bluey can say the word “no.” Sounds like “noar.” That alone is reason enough to not let your kids watch Bluey.
The reason I banned Bluey from my house is I don’t like the family dynamics or the way the kids talk to their parents, and some of the characters. The dad seems to always be giving into the kids every whim, and the kids seem to walk all over him, with very little respect paid to him. Meanwhile the kids think everything is a discussion. There isn’t an instance of “No” or “This is what we’re doing.”, everything seems to be a discussion, every decision the parents make is up for a debate. One example: Dad tells the kids no ice cream. Muffins dad gets muffin ice cream. Instead of explaining “Well, I’m your dad, I think you’ve had enough sugar, we’re not getting ice cream.” Dad gets the kids ice cream. Kids also seem to have zero responsibilities. I haven’t seen Bluey or Bingo pick up any toys, clean their room, or do anything that isn’t actively playing. They don’t help their parents around the house at all. Finally the show just irritates me. The sounds, colors, the pace, I just find it irritating.

So what’s it called when you can listen to the same song for several hours several days in a row?

Don’t let The Noid ruin your Pizza Friday.
Noid is such an odd character that really only works in the era he existed in. Outside of the ‘80s it’s probably weird and hard to understand how he has anything to do with pizza. Just kidding. He was super weird in the ‘80s too. So of course they gave him his own video game.

Godfather’s Pizza was underrated back in the day. I haven’t had it since (probably) the ‘90s but I remember always enjoying it.
