The prequel to Solomon’s Key was a game I stumbled into by accident.
I was a huge fan of the first game but by 1993 the NES was basically on its way out.
Oddly renamed Fire ‘N Ice in the US, you’d never know this was actually Solomon’s Key 2.
I rented it on a whim and when I started playing I was like, “Oh this is Solomon’s Key.”
It’s more of a pure puzzle game than Solomon’s Key was but it’s really fun.
There’s even a level editor that lets you design your own puzzles.
