Chad IDE is a revolution
@justinkan strapped a webcam to his head and streamed his life 24/7 — this became Twitch
@bchesky rented air mattresses on his apartment floor to pay rent — this became Airbnb.
@reedhastings mailed DVDs because he hated late fees — this became Netflix.
The brainrot IDE is just the beginning and you're watching the story unfold.

REALLY excited to announce Sunflower has raised over $3.88M now from @flybridge@ycombinator@speedrun. 🌻
We're going to use this $$ to build the #1 product for the 1.2 billion humans that struggle with addiction.
We'll raise more at YC DD in Dec.

I’m building something new! ✨
Last year, I founded my next thing with @jeffrey_hawke & an incredible team. Progress has been crazy.
Can’t wait to share more. Until then we’re growing our team. If you’re fascinated by the intersection of AI & computer graphics, please DM me!
A tremendous milestone for the AV industry, but even more importantly a signal to the country that CA prioritizes progress over the status quo.
We share the CPUC’s commitment to delivering safer, cleaner and more accessible transportation options.
With road fatalities increasing every year, making our roads safer is an urgent mission.
We’re proud of our safety record and remain committed to collaborating closely with regulators to push toward safer, cleaner and more accessible transportation.

San Francisco is the cradle of innovation for world-changing tech like self-driving cars.
Yet city officials have lied about them with fabricated statistics.
Why are electeds going out of their way to stamp out tech that saves lives? We have to expose the lies and fight back.
We ran this full-page ad in @nytimes and several local papers today.
Human drivers aren't good enough. America can do better, and it is time we fully embrace AVs.
New letter from CA state accuses SF officials of data manipulation: In the 4 @Waymo traffic collisions SF cited to prove driverless cars are less safe, 3 were the Waymos being rear-ended and 1 didn't even involve any cars touching, CA says. docs.cpuc.ca.gov/PublishedDo…
when you ask chatgpt to write a birthday post for you.
“A momentous occasion has arrived as we commemorate the completion of the initial year of existence for this little human. Let us revel in the jubilation and extend heartfelt felicitations on this auspicious 1st birthday!”
When do we really want AI to beat humans?
When it comes to road safety.
Across our first 1,000,000 miles, we see evidence that @Cruise AVs perform more safely on average than human drivers. Full report linked below.

Well folks, we did it. I have been waiting for this day for almost 10 years.
I am proud to announce @Cruise is now running 24/7 across all of San Francisco!
This is a pivotal moment for our business.
Let me tell you why 👇(1/6)

SF is over?! 🤣
a year ago i was sitting in a @cruise in this level of traffic wondering if we would be able to navigate it. the answer was yes. today it is a regular occurrence
I can’t count the times I’ve been told that AVs will *never* be able to handle certain situations.
How about taking a passenger through North Beach on St. Patrick’s day?
Absolutely wild. Thanks to this driverless @Cruise AV (named Twin Peaks) for the clip.
.@cruise hit 1,000,000 driverless miles!
That’s 40 trips around the planet, with nobody behind the wheel.
The fun thing about the rapid scaling we're doing is that that 1M miles will seem *tiny* by the end of this year. So excited to get more people in AVs!
Fun Fact: naming of our AVs started when an intern at Cruise named the first ones "Scarlet" and "Quicksilver" so that we could easily tell them apart. previously they were something like AV1 and AV2.
today we name every AV to help humanize an otherwise humanless experience
