this is horrifying: "An estimated 815 million children – one in three worldwide – have lead poisoning, a condition linked to heart and kidney disorders, impaired intelligence, violent behaviour and premature death."
Check out my article in the @guardian today. In low-income nations it's estimated that 52% of kids have lead poisoning, increasing their risk of heart disease impaired intelligence, yet very little aid goes to the problem politicians are often unaware.
