This is the first public acknowledgement of the attempt of a Chinese bulletproof hoster to capture Africa's IP address pool: linkedin.com/feed/update/urn… Thank you, @AminD1979, for speaking out. We cannot let democratic systems of Internet governance be undermined by corruption.

Imagine congratulating Kali & The Pride over a great signing & opportunity, rather than trivializing her moment because of a position her father holds. What a concept. This is so tired. Sincerely, someone who knows ☝🏻or✌🏻things about women’s hockey.
People who don't know about women's hockey are gonna make a big deal out of Flanagan leaving the PWHPA but her father literally works for the PHF now (scouting) so it was absolutely expected.

The only software vulnerable (and it is clear in the paper) is Google, OpenDNS, and old versions of Microsoft resolver and PowerDNS. Apparently no current software is vulnerable.

it’s a shame that the TsuNAME papers don’t mention DJB’s notes on gluelessness ⬇️ or RFC 1536 which discusses this bug in section 2 tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1536#… i suppose it’s typical for the DNS that classic bugs keep coming back 🤡💩 x.com/fanf/status/1390347065…

this TsuNAME bug is discussed under "gluelessness" at cr.yp.to/djbdns/notes.html and DJB's recommendation is the same as ⬇️ I'm in two minds - as an authoritative server operator acting as secondary for several other institutions I would like to move my servers with less faff

We absolutely did try to run these. The ads were rejected, and Facebook disabled our ad account. These are real screenshots, as Facebook should know.

Wow, we ( @h0t_max and @_Dmit) have found two undocumented x86 instructions in Intel CPUs which completely control microarchitectural state (yes, they can modify microcode)

See @LACNIC talk by @etiennesharp re: lack of IPv4 in Belize due to “ghost companies” who grabbed up BZ IPs leaving none for locals. Dancom (aka DDoSGuard) was such a company that took 190.115.16.0/20 out of BZ. Parler resolves to 190.115.31.151. youtu.be/rYLEWCCjpao?t=235
