Would be quite happy to not see any of Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella, Pedro Neto, Malo Gusto or Wesley Fofana not in Chelsea colours next season. The former has clearly checked out and wants to go, Cucurella can only play well in one system, Pedro Neto's end product is abysmal. Malo Gusto and Wesley Fofana are simply not good enough. Same can be said about Liam Delap, Tosin, Filip Jörgensen and Benoit Badiashille. At least 1 of Jamie Gittens or Alejandro Garnacho can go. If Roméo Lavia can't stay fit, he needs to go too. Marc Guiu needs to go for the sake of his own career. If a club offers £100m for Cole Palmer, I'd consider it.Dario Essugo needs a loan. Trim the squad massively and get players that can cope with the physicality and intensity of the Premier League. It doesn't require household names or big cash splurges, focus on getting people that can deal with the rigours of the Premier League. Chelsea will have an elite manager in the dugout and he will make players better. The biggest issue this season has been a lack of balance in the midfield and a lack of spark. Estêvão can be a game-changer, you'd imagine Cole Palmer will benefit from a rest and you need to find one or two other players that can win games in a moment.

🚨🗣 Didier Drogba's reaction to Arsenal winning the league title. "How the hell can you celebrate a trophy you basically stole with the referee’s helping hand? What a pathetic joke. This is a total disgrace to the Premier League, the referees, and that joke of a VAR system for their utterly inconsistent, biased officiating. Arsenal fans can pop the champagne all they want, but we all know the truth — that title was handed to them."

Watching back Newcastle's opener, Wesley Fofana had something of a five-yard head start on Anthony Gordon when Joe Willock was played through, but his jogging back allowed Gordon to overtake and score. Dire from Fofana and Chelsea
Newcastle lead 1-0. Chelsea broken open way too easily. Simply took a pass from Tino Livramento in behind the #CFC back line for Joe Willock, who squared for Anthony Gordon to tap in

Malo Gusto saw Amadou Onana do the three-point celebration at Stamford Bridge… So he pulled the same move back at Villa Park against Aston Villa. Revenge served.👏💙🔥

Jensen Huang said if he were a student today, he wouldn’t prioritize coding. He’d prioritize learning how to talk to AI. Most people treat AI like Google. Type a question, get an answer, move on. Huang sees it differently. He calls it “expertise in artistry,” which sounds dramatic but makes sense when you think about it. The real skill isn’t using AI. It’s knowing what to ask for and how to refine it. “Learning to interact with AI is not unlike being really good at asking questions.” If you’re a doctor, can you use AI to catch diagnoses you’d miss? If you’re a lawyer, can you sharpen arguments faster than your competition? The leverage comes from pairing what you know with how well you can direct the tool. Domain expertise multiplied by AI fluency equals amplification. Without the expertise, the AI is just noise. Without fluency, you’re leaving most of the capability on the table. The question isn’t whether AI will replace you. It’s whether someone who knows how to use it better will.

• Enzo could've had at least 2 assists yesterday. • Palmer could've gotten one more goal in the first half to break his own previous record. Pedro Neto, ladies and gentlemen 👏. #WOLCHE

I’ll never understand why two of the biggest cost drivers in football (wages and agent fees) are excluded from net-spend calculations. Take Marc Guéhi as an example. For City, his true cost over a five-year deal, factoring in the transfer fee, wages, and agent fees would likely push towards £120m. Yet in net-spend terms, City would only record roughly £20m. Compare that to Martín Zubimendi. An approx £55m transfer fee on a five-year contract at around £75k per week would put Arsenal’s total outlay comfortably under £80m, but Arsenal would still be recorded as spending the full £55m. Same five-year horizon, vastly different real costs, and completely different net-spend optics. And that’s before even touching contracts like Haaland’s whooping half-a-billion £ long-term deal. The system is fundamentally flawed and massively distorts how clubs’ spending is perceived.
The top 6 clubs in world football by cost of assembling their current first team squad. This does not consider wages, agent fees or hidden off-book payments.

Chelsea’s managerial churn is not simply the result of poor coach selection; it is a predictable outcome of role design in their model. Head coaches are leaders because they possess the personality traits required to make decisive calls and accept responsibility for outcomes. Authority, conviction, and ownership are not optional at this level they essential. Chelsea’s current structure, however, deliberately limits a head coach’s control over key decisions such as recruitment, medical management, and aspects of squad usage (playing players to raise value). The club asks coaches to lead without fully deciding. Finding a head coach genuinely comfortable operating this way is difficult, because it runs counter to the traits that put individuals into elite leadership roles in the first place. When results decline, accountability still flows to the head coach, despite decision-making power being distributed upward. Coaches are judged as traditional managers while operating as modern head coaches in a centralised model. The churn comes from the structure. In my opinion, its a flawed model.

Everyone is to blame. Owners for idealistic nonsense. SDs for bizarre signing policy. Maresca for abrasive behaviour and ridiculous canvassing. Should have booted him out in October as soon as he started speaking to Manchester City more regularly. SDs should be gone too.

Reece James you are world class 😍 Superb Chelsea performance given the circumstances. We put in a proper shift and made Arsenal look so average. A real coming of age showing and we’ve learnt from what’s happened previously going down to ten. Up the Chels 💙
