You won't get a forced resignation, especially not from Rema Vassar.
She was caught on tape lying to students, falsely claiming the school had lost its accredited status and blaming it on other MSU leaders for botching paperwork. It hadn't.
When asked why she did this, she said she wouldn't comment on secret recordings, then implied she was the victim of the school's broader lack of transparency.
(Note: she didn't deny saying it, and never sued The State News for publishing it.)
People resign under pressure when they have self-awareness and shame.
Doesn't apply here.
Exactly - there’s not many avenues to remove them. Although there is a 3rd way, where public pressure results in a forced resignation.
UPenn successfully accomplished this is 2023, where alumni and student orgs pressured board members into resignation.
