Through practical sessions, they strengthened their ability to assess learners, identify gaps, group them by learning level, and design targeted, engaging activities to close those gaps.

By embedding TaRL into our approach, our team is now better equipped to deliver improved, measurable learning outcomes, ensuring every learner is supported at the level they need to thrive.

This week, our educators were trained on Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), an evidence-based pedagogy that addresses foundational gaps in literacy and numeracy.

Teacher development is a cardinal component of the LBI model. Within our School Without Walls programme, where learners come with diverse experiences and varying foundational skill levels, building teacher capacity is essential to improving learning outcomes.

We start off with daily worship at 6.30 am Teaching sessions 7.30am to 8.30am. I had the privilege today of inaugurating the State Team Heads for Advocacy of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education @ncaoosce. This is a bold and necessary step toward ensuring education for every Nigerian child, regardless of their background. With the full support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT administration, through the Federal Ministry of Education @NigEducation, we are empowering the Commission to break the cycle of poverty by re-enrolling out-of-school children. Together, we can build a stronger Nigeria by ensuring no child is left behind. These team heads will engage community leaders, civil society organizations, local government officials, business communities, and NGOs to build a strong coalition of support, remove barriers, and promote enrollment and learning. Together, we will ensure that no child is denied the power of education.
