1. More reporters should consider covering rural areas and more newsrooms should see the value in rural beats. Would benefit journalism the public.
2. Feels weird that “reporters” can refer to both people who cover small city council meetings and people who have talent agents.

Will there be a journalistic brain drain in DC? A talent agent said what I've also heard anecdotally: A lot of reporters are "questioning if they have it in them to report on another Trump cycle."

Harris may run behind Biden in Nevada, but if she matched Biden's 2020 vote... Trump still would have won, bc he is 46k votes up from 2020.
Too early to judge AZ but you can see why Dems thought Harris could pull it out. They found their voters. Trump found/persuaded more.

Steady stream of voters at St. George’s only polling place this morning.
Even with the prevalence of mail voting, lots of folks wanted to come here. Some were first-timers excited about the milestone. Others felt it was more secure.
