And Kovatch started dialing in driver as well only a few yards behind Boyza. In the Kovatch golf origins segment we learned Mike started playing in the cornfields using grandpa’s clubs. Salt of the earth baby! I didn’t have any coffee to start the day and dehydration was kicking in. So Boyza was literally bottle feeding me water like a baby. Just don’t start calling me Gerber. Dietz had another ridiculously great up-and down showing his deft touch is legit. And by the way if PRG starts making limited edition Dietzen headcovers the group all agreed we’d all buy some.

Nothing but perfect off the tee as all four gents hit the fairway on this first par-5 at Pasatiempo. Dietzen is the first ever guest on the new PWPI Golf Origins segment and no Dietz did not got drunk and kicked off baseball team as his gateway to golf. Nick was longest off the tee, Dietz felt the spirit of Alister Mackenzie with a shot into the green next to MacKenzie’s house and gave himself a birdie look. Boyza found his second bunker on the day and was clearly aware of our PWPIPasatiempo bet where I took the over and he took the under on 7.5 bunkers hit. Kovatch was locked in for his par putt and that foreboded the heater he was about to go on. The livestream dropped before the gents hit their putts but we have all the full HD action in videos on Instagram and YouTube. Dietz explained why he is the “Lay Up King” and was first in a with par and won a PRG Golf 20th Anniversary driver headcover for X Livestream viewer @stx_n_stns_glf.

We have one, maybe two more Play With Pete Invitational events this year. More on that soon. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t just lock down a PWPI for 2027 today. And. It. Is. A. Banger! 💯👀👍
