Greatest point differential ever surely they had a lot more margin for error ..?
the overarching point is the knicks needed more things to go right (kat/og/mikal all having great runs, shooters having magnets, some fortune with regards to opposing teams letting themselves down etc). traditional 1as have a greater margin for error and higher base performance

He didnโ€™t look like the Hub the last 3 games to me idk
It tells me that once they made Kat the hub of the offense, and he started playing at an absurd level on defense the Knicks took off. Teams plans before after and during was to shut down Brunson, thereโ€™s only point in time where they played like an all time playoff team and KAT was the difference lol

Mike Brown is the greatest to ever do it
Just saw an absurd stat. Brunsonโ€™s playoff /- by year 2023: 37 2024: 12 2025: 2 2026: 234 LMFAO?????

Hereโ€™s a pretty wild stat: In the NBA Finals, Jalen Brunson had a lower defensive FG% (38.2%) than unanimous DPOY Victor Wembanyama (42.7%).

Fawk imagine if he had an average midrange series
Eh, Brunson only shot 27% on 6 midrange attempts a game during the Finals His work in the paint (12 shots a game) was much more productive/impactful imo Restricted area: 18-31 (58%) Paint (non-RA): 15-33 (45.5%) Midrange: 9-33 (27.3%)

I donโ€™t think most fans would disagree with this other than a few getting swept up in the moment really
Yโ€™all are putting Brunson in convoโ€™s he donโ€™t belong in while keeping him out of convoโ€™s heโ€™s actually to good for. Yes heโ€™s over A.I and Kyrie, no heโ€™s not in the class of Giannis, Jokic and Shai

Didn't realize in the moment that Hukporti blocked the alley oop AFTER closing to the 3pt line. Sensational. Maybe even game saving.

Boomer cultural dominance is so bad that you can watch your own son drop 45 to win the NBA Finals and immediately start talking about some guy from the 90s

1 and 2 should be consensus. 3-8 I can listen to just about any argument, they are all in one tier for me. 9-10 has to be Bucks and Warriors in tier 3

Weirdly, I donโ€™t remember the Tatum on/offs ever being a talking point of the 2024 finals.
