Last week, members of our @MSE team were back in the kitchen at @dcck.
Every month, MSE staff commit their time to preparing meals for our neighbors across the District.
At MSE, we often talk about our double bottom line: building a strong, growing enterprise while helping our community thrive. Partnerships like this are where that commitment becomes real.
Grateful to everyone at DCCK for their work every day, and proud of our MSE team for continuing to show up in our community.

The @dcck is a robust non-profit that's been around for 36 years providing distinguished culinary job training while providing free meals for the disadvantaged.
Yesterday, our staff got to volunteer their time and efforts there in support of their day's food prep.
We believe volunteering as an organization is a great way to build staff cohesiveness while giving back. Bonus when it's in support of a cause in the ag or food systems space!

@TheTraeYoung and his foundation committed $100K to @dccapscholars and @DCCK, reinforcing the impact sports and athletes can make on our communities.
We launched EquipHER with the @WashMystics and @dcpublicschools to provide essential athletic gear to D.C. athletes and help more girls stay in the game.
We also welcomed @doriancraft as the new lead voice of Mystics basketball and are building toward a new season following the @WNBA Draft.
Real progress is taking place across our community, platforms, and teams – all centered on delivering for our fans. I’m excited for what’s ahead!

The Trae Young Family Foundation is donating $50,000 to the DC Central Kitchen (@dcck) and another $50,000 to the DC College Access Program (@dccapscholars). DC Central Kitchen fights hunger with culinary job training and school food programs, among other initiatives. The DC College Access Program helps District public high-school students earn college degrees with little to no debt.
