My favorite thing on the Internet are French business owners who post passive aggressive replies to Google Maps reviews. And I think I just found the champion in a nutritional fitness store in the 15th.

A year ago I wrote a review of @MentavaInc and why I decided not to continue my subscription. Well, now I'm back, and I've given it another go with my now 4 y/o daughter. It's one of the best additions (maybe "the" best) to her early education.

I tried to teach my 3 yr. old to read with @MentavaInc. I'm a fan, but I cancelled after the trial. Why? In short, I thought the cost set up misaligned initiatives, where mine was to get my money's worth, and my daughter's was to go at her own pace.

All-in-all, though, I'm grateful it's around and understand this would be much more difficult (for my daughter and for her parents) if it wasn't.

I'll almost certainly come back with my daughter when she's just a bit older, although we'll probably give Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons another go first.

I don't want them to fail, but between this and the "if we just capture 1% of the market" comment… This really feels like big tech employees start a company without knowing what a company is supposed to do (create value for customers).

easy to dogpile, much harder to build. yes, the software is not where it needs to be — full stop — and that's entirely on us. the overwhelming negative sentiment — what happened to optimism? what happened to pushing things forward?

In case you're wondering why they don't share the "aggressive" email in an article all about it… It's because it's maybe the tamest I've ever seen.

I can't wait until these people take a look at the emails of Bill Gates from the mid-90s.
