This was my last day in my primary care clinic of 6 years. Such a mix of feelings as I said goodbye to patients. I found myself expressing things that I wished I had said earlier, like “I am so proud of the progress you’ve made in [insert any number of areas]!” 1/5

A patient who is very deft with portal messaging dropped off a handwritten thank you letter (?!). In my mind, I like to think that he knew how much the inbox burden of primary care is soul-crushing…and my sworn enemy 😂. 4/5
