An update was provided on the Governmentâs intention to purchase the Compass Point Building as part of a broader strategy to modernise operations, improve service delivery, and reduce long-term costs.
The proposal aims to consolidate government departments into a single, functional space, improving coordination, accessibility for the public, and working environments for public officers. It also creates capacity to refurbish aging government buildings while reducing reliance on costly private rentals.
