#HeraMission update: MMH tank temperature in preparation for DSM2 increased in preparation for DSM2 (deep-space manoeuvre 2). Both MMH and MON tanks have reached their target temperatures and the tank pressures are converging towards 17 bar. Ready to burn some propellant!!! 🚀

Long time since reporting on #HeraMission it navigated the ~ 22-day solar conjunction period without
anomalies, executing all operations as pre-planned onboard. Hera also passed aphelion at a solar distance of 2.368 AU. All units remained within their operational temperature 🛰️

Breaking space news: We have made our own solar eclipse in space! 🌘
Today, we release the first images from our Proba-3 mission, which flies two spacecraft in precise formation to create artificial solar eclipses in orbit.
Using a powerful instrument called a coronagraph, Proba-3 lets us observe the Sun’s corona, its ultra-hot outer atmosphere, helping us to understand space weather in ways we can’t from Earth.
