If I ever find myself in a position where I am creating good enough content that companies want to pay me for sponsored ads, I promise you I will never promote sports gambling. I’d rather be broke than contribute to that epidemic.

I have read this a couple of times through and I genuinely have no clue what point is attempted at being made here
Good morning, Tiger fans. Scott Harris has a huge problem. And the funny part is, he created it. When you give $30 million to a player before he ever steps foot in the big leagues, and then hand out $150 million to a kid with about a week of major-league service time, you’ve set the market inside your own clubhouse. Now enter Riley Greene and Dylan Dingler. Riley Greene has actually done it in the big leagues. Dylan Dingler was supposed to be Jake Rogers’ backup. Instead, he’s turning into one of the best catchers in baseball. He’s handling a pitching staff, throwing runners out, hitting bombs, driving in runs, and playing the most demanding position on the field at an All-Star level. So what’s the plan now? Because if potential is worth $150 million, what is proven production worth? If a week in the big leagues is worth $150 million, what’s an All-Star catcher worth? What’s Riley Greene worth? What’s Tarik Skubal worth? Maybe the answer is simple: pay them. After all, we’re constantly told the owners have to be careful, payrolls are tight, and labor negotiations are looming. Interesting strategy, though. Hand out massive contracts before players establish themselves, then act shocked when proven stars want to get paid. What a predicament. Almost like somebody volunteered to create it. But hey, if the owners are really hurting that badly, maybe they should open the books and show us. Because from where I’m sitting, there always seems to be money available when they want to spend it. Let’s see what Mr. Harris and Mr. Ilitch do next. #RepDetroit #DetroitTigers #DylanDingler #RileyGreene #TarikSkubal #SheGone #SheGoneNation

I don’t often agree with old head baseball opinions but plunking a dude for being an asshole used to be a regular part of the game lol

Regardless of his beliefs if I saw someone genuinely wearing a Blake Treinen jersey in public I would audibly laugh at them
Blake Treinen currently has the #1 selling jersey in the MLB. Last night, every Los Angeles Dodgers player wore a pride night hat. Treinen was not wearing a pride hat when he entered the game 👏

Honestly most players I would hate our pitchers to drill like this but for Josh Naylor I’m cool with it
About the only way Josh Naylor could more fully embrace his role of Detroit villain is stomping on a coney dog, spitting in a can of Vernors and flattening a Detroit style pizza. But he took a 96 mph fastball between the shoulders from Keider Montero in stride.

Oh wow Trump is siding with the multi-billionaires who could have guessed! Surely this is a new and surprising development for him
President Trump said Friday that Major League Baseball should have added a salary cap "a long time ago." "Don't they sort of have one?" The president has picked a side in baseball's labor talks: the owners'. nytimes.com/athletic/7336676…

People die constantly in this country because of an inability to afford health care but instead of our tax money going towards universal healthcare it’s going towards funding an overpowered militarized police state.
Republicans force through another $70B to ICE, on top of last year's $170B
