#allRGB authors can now edit the title and description of their entries. This can be done before or after an entry has been published to the website. However, changes are not published instantly, but only when the entire is updated.

We also updated the homepage of the @allRGB website: allrgb.com! We won’t do a breakdown this time, but will just mention there’s an Easter egg on there somewhere. Happy egg hunt! #allRGB #WebDesign #HTML5 #Redesign #EasterEgg

We made changes to the entry pages of our side project @allRGB. Example: allrgb.com/thingy. The changes are subtle, but plentiful. We’ll break it down a bit… #WebDesign #allRGB #SideProject

Speaking of optimizations; the processes in the backend that are responsible for analyzing newly submitted images, as well as render the entry pages, are also refactored and now run significantly faster. Not something you’ll notice when visiting the website, but it’s nice for us.

So that concludes our little breakdown of the new entry pages on @allRGB. The next things we want to improve upon are the author pages and/or the homepage. We have ideas, but suggestions are welcome. ∎

On the front-end, we now display the creation date (formally we used the publication date), and also the number of bytes, pixels, and colors of the entry image. Those last two values should always be 16,777,216, but we actually get those from the image files dynamically. #numbers

One thing that is currently absent from the sidebar is advertising. Apart from time and effort, @allRGB has always cost us some money to maintain, and in recent years, @AdSense wasn’t making much of a dent in said costs. If you like this project, consider donating, or hiring us.

Our primary brand color is green …ish. Whereas most brands try to define their colors as precisely as possible in an attempt to make it more recognizable with consistency, we try to make ours stand out by making it vary all the time. npmjs.com/package/@deidee/de…
