Access to childcare is not only a benefit to a child’s development but also to the economy. Throughout my time on Ways and Means, I have visited different childcare providers and successfully pushed for funding for our most vulnerable children in therapeutic childcare programs.

I was delighted to attend the groundbreaking for Burtonsville Elementary School’s soon-to-be new location. Set to be completed in August 2026, this state of the art facility will have room for almost 800 students.
