yep! In 10 states, poor people lose more on the lottery than corporations pay in taxes. And the money from the lottery often ends up in the hands of corporations, not just schools or whatever people think cbsnews.com/news/state-lotte…

He said what he said
My name is Brian Brackeen, I'm a Venture Capitalist. I'm also a proud Black VC. I invest in the best founders to make a ton of money for my investors. Why do I mention? People often refer me bad deals that have Black founders. I don't run a charity. Send me the best deals.

Every year on MLK Jr Day you know what I think about the most? The way that he died more than the words he wrote (which were very powerful and meaningful taken in their proper context). Sometimes I feel that part gets lost in the celebration of his greatness.

I used to get so surprised by how many successful professionals across discipline types (actors, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists, singers, venture capitalists, politicians, doctors) were progeny of the same. Data shows it’s actually the *vast majority*.

"The fact that the U.S. ever, or that any political party left or right, ever thought of ... the Latinx community as one monolith ... it's a mistake." Newsbroke's @Franifio asked author and entrepreneur @NathalieMolina how to better understand the Latino vote.
