In 2019, @tomschenkjr @OSGISOMG @abhinemani @SorenSpicknall @therriaultphd @LukeStowe, Greg Wass, Christopher Whitaker and Andrew Nicklin raised serious questions and concerns with this merger. Glad to see it being undone.

The 2024 budget proposes to disband the Department of Assets, Information and Services into the new Department of Technology and Innovation & the Department of Fleet and Facility Management, which existed before. "This is long overdue," Johnson says.

As of May 2023, at least 1.62mw of operating solar capacity have been installed in the State of Illinois
For comparison, Prairie State, the State’s largest coal plant, is 1.63mw, illustrating just how far we've come in a few years, but still how far we have to go

The Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) was enacted two years ago, putting IL on a path to 100% carbon-free energy by 2050.
