Edward Brandt, 61, found guilty by a jury at Southampton Crown Court of stalking Dame Penny Mourdant when she was Portsmouth North MP by sending multiple emails, making phone calls and leaving voice messages. Also turned up at her office.

Proud to have been working on the launch of our campaign with @missingpeople over the last few weeks.
The @Independent's goal is to raise ÂŁ165,000 to fund a new, free service called SafeCall, so that the 70,000 children reported missing each year can find safety, no matter what.

The Gunpowder Plot failed #OTD in 1605. The plot was an unsuccessful attempt at regicide against King James VI & I. When he was interrogated by the King, Guy Fawkes said: "I wish to blow the Scottish King and all of his Scottish Lords back to Scotland."

Great & underrated actor. The Limey is an exceptional film. RIP Terence Stamp.
Terence Stamp, the English-born actor celebrated in the 1960s for “Billy Budd,” “The Collector” and “Far From the Madding Crowd,” later known for playing General Zod in the “Superman” films and starring in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Limey,” died Sunday. He was 87.

Sergeant Mohammad Hussain passed away earlier today. He was from Gujjar Khan, Punjab. Pakistan. He was one of our last WW2 veterans.
He served in one of the most effective divisions of WW2. The 8th Indian division played a strategic role in the defeat of the German army in Italy.
He was only a teenager in this 2nd pic. You can see 3 German soldiers surrender to him and his comrades who were also Muslim.
He was from Slough near London. I will keep you updated on his janazah. Possibly this Sunday - for updates please follow Jahan Mahmood.
