Set a treadmill at 21kph ( max most will go to) and try to run for 30 seconds on it. That's what he did for 1 hour, 59 minutes and 30 seconds. The peak of human physical achievement. Insane, absolutely insane.
A moment we thought we would never see 🤯 Sabastian Sawe has become the first person to run a marathon in under two hours in race conditions.

Did you know? Under #Agenda2063, the African Union is advancing the creation of three continental financial institutions to strengthen Africa’s economic sovereignty and reduce reliance on external financing. These are: The African Investment Bank (AIB) – to finance infrastructure and strategic development projects The African Monetary Fund (AMF) – to promote macroeconomic stability and provide financial support to Member States The African Central Bank (ACB) – to deepen financial integration and support a future common African currency These institutions are designed to ensure that Africa finances Africa, strengthens integration, and builds long-term resilience.

1/ I had the honour of facilitating the panel “Africa’s Role in the Global Order” at the T20 Africa High-Level Policy Dialogue, joined by a stellar panel and 🇿🇦 Deputy President Paul Mashatile. We asked: How can Africa use its new G20 seat to shape the emerging global order? 🧵
