I'm calling on Congress to pass legislation immediately to adopt the Tentative Agreement between railroad workers and operators.
Let me be clear: a rail shutdown would devastate our economy. Without freight rail, many U.S. industries would shut down.

You sold us out! You’re EIGHTY years old and had a chance to actually change railroad workers’ lives for the better. Instead you sided with corporations that have spend over $140 billion on stock buybacks in the last 10 years. You should be ashamed!

This is wrong. Putting public pressure on railroad workers instead of the companies with record profits is wrong. Forcing a deal with no paid sick time is wrong.
It looks like Congress will pass this.
I hope they strike anyway.
