5 years ago, we were struggling to make a practical and limited Indistinguishability Obfuscation (iO) to make btc-eth trustless bridge, and I found that we can do it with Witness Encryption (WE) instead of iO. ethresear.ch/t/trustless-bit…
But BitVM v3 can make it with grabbled circuit online assumption instead of WE, and it's completely practical. It's implying that many things which required WE are replaceable with grabbled circuits.
