Moments of strain surface our work: individually, familially, and collectively. I re-visited this paper on white supremacy culture (better titled dominance culture IMO) and it was eye opening to see how attributes are coming to the fore in this moment.

I used to respect @pmarca, and even had hopes that

the whole section about enemies... oof. just the whole perspective on enemies / war / fighting / othering reflects a worldview of superiority, us vs. them, a massive part of what is deeply wrong w the world right now (see conflict in the middle east)
finally @pmarca pls don't include Buckminster Fuller on your list of techno-optimistsm as you describe it so embedded in capitalism. We need to divorce our views of what tech can do (so much) from its enmeshment with capitalism (which is ripping apart society at its seams).
