The head animation is done using Math.sin, but if use it without restrictions, then over time a shift occurs and the head crawls somewhere far away. With restrictions:

Interesting - I had a very similar concept in my plans. Except that the main character is an ordinary person. I even already made a rough sketch of the protagonist.

h2d.Anim in work. Hide does a great job of slicing images for animation, but you need to know the exact frame size for each case. It's more logical and easier to use a grid for this.
