Established in 1974 the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust has successfully completed many award winning historic building projects in Derbyshire #DHBTrust
Earlier this week we were delighted to be presented with the award for 'The Best Overall Entry of 2024' (sponsored by @greateranglia) for our Wingfield Station project at @NRHAwd in London. (1/2)
The purpose of the Awards is to recognise, acknowledge & reward, for the public benefit, the very best in restoration, conservation & re-use of our historic railway infrastructure.
We were sent a fantastic photo dating from April 1968, shared here with @MiniapertureP 2023 photo.
The winner of the 2024 @greateranglia sponsored best entry of the year goes to the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust for their amazing restoration of the totally derelict 1830's Wingfield Station.
We’re honoured to be at the @NRHAwd in London today.

Yesterday 9 learners had a mix of theory & practical (hot mix lime & measuring/gauging sticks) training.
Great for all levels of (perceived) knowledge as the last slide demonstrates!
Many of you will remember the Wingfield Station show garden @BBCGWLive last year.
This year, we teamed up with @derbycollege once again, with the theme of the #Bonsall Field Barn Project
On Weds, this brilliant design was recognised with a Platinum (the top) Award!
