Union Health Secretary Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava visited AIIMS Mangalagiri to review #SwachhataPakhwada (1–15 April 2026) activities and promote the vision of #SwachhBharat.
She appreciated student-led initiatives like “Waste to Art”, reviewed key hospital facilities, and emphasized cleanliness as a cornerstone of preventive healthcare under the guidance of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi.
She also felicitated frontline staff and dedicated the new Undergraduate Girls Hostel Block for women students.

The Ayushman Arogya Shivir at Gollapudi, NTR district, Andhra Pradesh, witnessed the esteemed presence of Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, alongside Shri Saurabh Gaur, Principal Secretary (Health), Government of Andhra Pradesh, the District Collector, and senior officials from both the Centre and the State.
During the Shivir, Smt. Srivastava distributed nutrition baskets to TB patients and observed handheld X-ray screenings, reinforcing the focus on early detection and comprehensive care.
Driving the vision of a #TBMuktBharat , Gaon-Gaon, Sheher-Sheher.
