Something I've been working on over the last couple of months. Driven by the frustration that I couldn't find a decent, simple, free online drawing tool to help with our building project. Given time, I think it has the potential to be really great!

The number of UK child safety organisations and experts criticising the UK government's approach to Social Media for under 16s is quite extraordinary. mollyrosefoundation.org/wp-c…

CEO of Cursor: "...oftentimes the next 20 minutes of your work are entirely predictable." 20 seconds, yes. And those 20 second savings do add up. I love it. But 20 minutes? Absolutely miles away from reality... theverge.com/decoder-podcast…

Finally got round to switching from OpenRouter web chat to @ChatboxAI_HQ as my default interface for LLM chat today. Very happy with it so far. Conversations with Claude Sonnet are so much better with some firm ground rules in place.

Working on some components to simplify positioning in @aframevr <a-box left="-2" color="red"></a-box> <a-box left="-1" color="green"></a-box> <a-box right="1" color="blue"></a-box> A small simplification, but a noticeable reduction in cognitive load when writing A-Frame HTML

I built a $21M SaaS product using Open Source software (@aframevr , @threejs, @reactjs and @jotaijs) - solo. In the past I have worked as a team with proprietary code, however I wanted to see how far I can get with Open Source - no staff, just raw agency and curiosity... (1/3)

With apologies to @bradlind, who inspired this post... x.com/bradlind/status/193830…

I built a $1.7m SaaS product using @Replit - solo - and I’ve never coded before! My previous startup was a unicorn in the BNPL place (Quadpay) however I wanted to see how far I can get with Replit - no staff, just raw agency and curiosity. My idea was to create a tool that can write a polished full length biography about someone purely from voice prompts, removing the friction of writing a book and compressing the cost from $10-20k to $119, and the time from months or years into days. This isn’t a 1 prompt wonder. It’s a passion project that took 8 weeks to build and $1500 of tokens which Replit Agent estimated would have cost $1.7m and a team of 8 to build over 8-12 months without AI. It’s integrated into Stripe, ElevenLabs, Open AI Real-Time voice (thanks @mattyp), Sendgrid, Amazon S3 and designed using beautiful images created by ChatGPT and video generated by Mirage. It enables anyone to be interviewed by AI via voice and to preserve their memories forever in rich elaborate detail in written, audiobook and podcast formats, narrated back in your own voice. @Replit is a gift to the world and a superpower to those who master it! 6 years later, I needed to download all my projects from @glitch, and @utopiah's script worked great, with just a few tweaks.... support.glitch.com/t/exporti… Working code here, in case it's useful to anyone else: gist.github.com/diarmidmacke…

Replying to @glitch
@glitch hey, I'm not leaving but I'm always worried that my past work is safe so I'd like to have a local copy. Is there a way not to export just 1 project but... all my projects? I have about ~100 so I'd rather not do so manually ;)
