経済協力開発機構（OECD）のマティアス・コーマン事務総長@MathiasCormannとお会いしました。 国際情勢が不透明さを増す中、価値観を共有する国々が先進的な政策議論を交わすOECDの価値は一層高まっています。 今般、『日本と経済協力開発機構（OECD）との間の経済安全保障に関する協力プラン』が発出されたことを歓迎し、今後、日本とOECDが同プランに基づき共に国際社会の議論をリードしていくことへの期待をお伝えしました。 コーマン事務総長からも、日本とOECDは重要なパートナーであり、日本が幅広い活動に深く貢献していることへの謝意と、協力プランを共に進めていくことを楽しみにしているとのお話しをいただきました。 また、OECDによる様々な分野での東南アジア地域への支援は、進化した「自由で開かれたインド太平洋（FOIP）」の考え方とも一致していると申し上げました。 コーマン事務総長からは、東南アジア・アウトリーチにおける日本のリーダーシップへの感謝と、引き続き日本と緊密に連携しながらOECDの活動を進めていきたいとの力強い発言がありました。 コーマン事務総長との間で、経済安全保障を含む幅広い分野で協力を強化していくことを確認でき、有意義な会合となりました。
