We are going to see a lot of this: people using the referendum campaign to promote their own agendas; campaigning for a "united Canada" on the basis that their preferred remedies for "addressing separatist concerns" are adopted. And if they are not? The premise of all of this "pro-Canada" campaigning (see also: Danielle Smith) is that Canada has to prove itself to be worthy of saving -- that one of the most successful countries in the history of the world has to beg for the right to exist. That may be many things but it's not pro-Canada. Alberta independence: Poilievre campaigns to keep province in Canada ctvnews.ca/politics/article/…

Her husband now? When was he elected? What did she pay him? What are his credentials? David Moretta, is not an elected official, nor does he hold any official position or employment within the Alberta government. He is a private citizen.  Professionally, Moretta has a background as a former television news producer and, along with Premier Smith, previously owned and operated a restaurant in High River.
Premier Smith says Alberta would not have this passenger rail master plan without her husband, who recommended that she put all the possible proposals into a single vision.

I am baffled that my MLA posted this. This government has zero self awareness.

David Cochrane: The Canada Forever initiative though was started as a preventative measure against the separatism referendum. So I don't know if you can really use that 400k as people clamouring for a referendum Danielle Smith: Well I know that the proponents are trying to rewrite history on that

The United Conservative Party put out a statement claiming a special committee had voted to recommend a referendum question for this October, offering Albertans a choice on whether to remain in Canada. But the release went out while the committee was still meeting and hadn’t actually finalized anything.

This renaming is a prelude to selling off/privatizing paramedic service. Just like when they renamed Alberta Public Laboratories to Alberta Precision Laboratories and then sold it off to DynaLife. Otherwise, why waste precious health care dollars on renaming? #ableg #abpoli

Anyone else think this "third party" narrative is a made-up cover for David Parker obtaining the List of Electors from his "long time friend, compatriot, brother in arms" Cameron Davies, leader of the Alberta Republican Party? #ableg #abpoli
Where to start... - The Alberta Republicans confirm they gave the electoral list to a third party - They revoked privileges after finding out the 3rd party may have provided the list to the Centurion Project - The Western Standard is advertising the Smith Jesus Summit. 🤷

Replying to @david_parker
Let me get this straight: you're saying the cheating and fraud was worth it, because the fine wasn't high enough 🧐? Maybe @ElectionsAB should take that into account, for this time and the next. #ableg
