Mark my words, if Trump wins again he's going to try to sell the White House. #trump #problem

So if Kamala Harris had started a war with Iran, gas prices doubled, and then held a UFC fight on the White House lawn, MAGA would’ve been totally normal and reasonable about it, right?

JD Vance promoting his book about finding his way back to faith while helping manage Situation Room meetings on how to cover up for pedophiles is about as Republican as it gets.

And the market will still react. We're all idiots.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and every billionaire vanished. Most people would still go to work. Food would still be grown. Roads would still be built. Hospitals would still operate. Now imagine every worker vanished. That's the difference between wealth and value.

People were so starved for authenticity in politics that they mistook Trump's audacity for what they needed. And he has taken full advantage of it.
🚨WOW. Hunter Biden delivers a surprisingly insightful explanation of the difference between authenticity and audacity on Gavin Newsom’s podcast. Then he unloads on Trump: "Donald Trump has the audacity to say that he's 6'3" and weighs 224 pounds... when we both know he's 5'11", 300." "This is the difference between being audacious and authentic."

Here is a list of all the things Trump is doing to rig the midterms. 1. Mandating states hand over voter rolls to the federal government. 2. "Seizing" (ie. stealing) voter rolls and ballots from Georgia in a coordinated FBI raid with bad actor Tulsi Gabbard. 3. Pressuring red states to gerrymander to give Republicans extra seats. 4. Mandating by Executive Order that USPS cannot deliver mail-in ballots in states that refuse to hand over voter lists to the Trump administration. This is to prevent mail-in voting. 5. Pressuring Congress to pass the SAVE Act which will make it harder for poor Americans, the elderly, married women and POC to vote. 6. Fueling LIES again about "election fraud" and Democrats "rigging" elections. 7. Threatening to put armed ICE agents at polling stations for voter intimidation, and possible violence. 8. Appointing bootlicker loyalist Bill Pulte to head of DNI, who will have access to intelligence that can be weaponized and manipulated to create a false narrative about "foreign interference" to try and refuse the results of the election. (likely with Mike Johnson). Coup 2.0. Trump is doing all of these things in plain sight. He's desperate to hold onto power and rule "unchecked" (and enabled) by Congress. The question every American voter should be asking, is what is he planning that we haven't seen yet.

Wow. He explained something I felt ignorant about in an interesting way. Here's where to find more of him, according to grok... He covered it better than any news source we’ve got and it was also entertaining. The real story about the Albanian Island adventure these two idiots were up to.

This dude's got it.
.@JamesTalarico: There's been a lot of talk in this race about what it means to be a real man. Recently on the campaign trail I told the story of my adoptive dad, Mark Talarico. Every Saturday morning, he would mow our lawn, and then without anyone asking him to, he would go next door and mow our neighbor's lawn because she was a widow. My dad never talked about it — he just did it, because that's what a man does. A man takes responsibility, upholds his commitments to his family and his neighbors, and does what's right, even when no one is watching. Here's what real men don't do. They don't lie and cheat their way through life, sell their soul to the highest bidder, or steal from other people in order to enrich themselves. Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves. I welcome this debate about what it means to be a man, and I don't think Ken Paxton or Ted Cruz are in a position to tell anybody what a real man is.

On today’s episode of MAGA are the dumbest (with a b) people on the plant: We have a MAGA influencer committing a crime and then making a video about it.

Fascism does not arrive saying “I am fascism.” It arrives saying “law and order,” “border security,” “anti-woke,” “election integrity,” and “national emergency.”

Okay, so I guess Scott Pelley is on record with his opinion on the authenticity of the Butler shooting.
Scott Pelley responds to Trump saying he doesn’t care about the country: “I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’ve been in combat for this country. In Afghanistan, and Iraq, Kuwait. Been shot at. Spent nights in foxholes filling up with water in the desert. I’m not aware that the president has ever done any of those things for his country. You become a journalist because you love the First Amendment, you love the country. While all the other descriptions the president used about me might be applicable, not that one”

If you think I’m trashing MAGA (whatever that is now) I really am sorry. I know for certain there are millions of Americans who voted for Donald Trump that love this country and love their neighbors and love their families and struggle and succeed and fail just like me and you and everyone. And I don’t begrudge them their political affiliation in any way. I just abhor the hate. The meanness for the sake of being mean. No matter where it’s coming from. I’m not your enemy man. I’m really not. They’re trying to get us to fight among ourselves while they pick our pockets and piss on our legs and tell us it’s raining. I’m not doing that to you and I sure as hell know you’re not doing that to me. What could we possibly gain by hating each other as they walk off with all the food on the table. We can disagree with each other without hating each other. We just all need to break the algorithm man. It’s so much more fun finding a reason to love someone than it is finding a reason to hate them.

Entering month 6 of the Mamdani mayorship of NYC and Robberies are down 11%, Retail theft is down 19%, and Murder is down an astounding 21%. And he did so without "Adding 5000 new cops" to the streets. Instead, he's invested in public safety with free childcare, accessible infrastructure, and better funded schools and libraries. He's proven once again that if we want safer communities, we must invest in People—not Punishments.
