Fantastic work, congrats to the team! Because of game changing new treatments, screening for CKD is likely now cost-effective. The population-level health effects are very substantial. Clinicians now have an opportunity to prevent the significant morbidity and mortality from CKD.
Excited to share our new paper acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/…) published in @AnnalsofIM. Our analysis shows that population-wide screening for chronic kidney disease in the U.S. has large population health gains and could be cost-effective.
