The cases are different but Newsweek is going to make a gratuitous comparison.

I suppose @ggreenwald would say these are anti-Zionist who just got a little excited.
🚨 Ahmet Kerem Korkaya (28, medical student) and Paige Elizabeth Feyock (26) are among 8 federally indicted today for terrorizing University of Michigan leaders and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. According to the feds: Korkaya put a victim’s entire family on his hit list and said: “I’m gonna be the dirtiest fucking doctor ever… poison her ass slowly.” Feyock said they should “get” the “kids” of victims and agreed to burn their house down. She’s also charged with witness intimidation for planning to “strip search” a student they suspected was cooperating with feds “to see if he is wearing a wire.” They carried out nighttime “autonomous actions”: - Vandalized the Jewish Federation building on the Oct 7 anniversary with Hamas symbols - Hit family homes of U-M leaders/Provost (including throwing butyric acid jars through windows, breaking glass, spray-painting inverted red triangles “INTIFADA”) - Caulked doors shut and left threat notes Six others were indicted. Good job @FBI.

Cue Put Silver Wings on My Son’s Chest.
What Scott Pelley sees when he watches Scott Pelley on TV.

Poor Seth had to turn off comments because he was taking a beating worse than anything Platner said he would dole out to anyone who broke into his apartment.
If you've made up your mind on Platner after drilling down with investigative intent—not relying on rumor, innuendo, libel, or gloss—you do you. If your mind is open or you simply still feel curiosity, Sebastian Junger has a lot to say worth reading. 🔗: open.substack.com/pub/sebast…

Why do former staff members need to speak anonymously?
"60 Minutes" staffers past and present are outraged about Scott Pelley's firing.

The lyrics are totally nonsensical. That’s what makes it such a great song.
People point to this lyric as the reason why it's the "worse song ever".... "MacArthur Park is melting in the dark All the sweet, green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again Oh, no!" But it's really this lyric that takes the proverbial melted cake: "Between the parted pages and were pressed In love's hot, fevered iron Like a striped pair of pants" He even sings striped with two syllables - "stri-ped". How he came up with "striped" is beyond me... why not "silken"...goes with 'love's hot fever' "grass-stained"...goes with 'green icing' "soggy"....goes with rain... "baker's"....goes with cake... Good Lord.....

Don’t give me a reason to root for her.
Democrats want Jill Biden to just go away.

Talk about stolen valor.
Dec 2025. Scott Pelley says 60 Minutes has trouble getting people on because of “fear that has spread across the country." He then praises himself for pressing on in the face of such immense difficulty. The self-importance of this propaganda hack is really something to behold.

This is so true.
Anyone who claims the lack of joy about the 250th is a function of a rough economy was not alive in 1976. The country rocked in its 200th celebration and the economy was a FREAKING MESS. There is this Gen Z misconception that the '70s and early '80s were some sort of economic golden age of readily available, well-paying jobs, low cost housing and an all around sense of prosperity. WRONG. Google "Stagflation." Google "gas lines." Google "mortgage interest rates in the 1980s." Our economy today is a golden age by comparison, without exaggeration. Yet somehow in 1976 we could gleefully celebrate our nation's birthday without Democrats turning it into a Howard Zinn-inspired anti-history hatefest.

The heir to Joe McCarthy.
My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

She seems to like the idea of SCOTUS meddling in state affairs.
The Supreme Court of the United States has now joined the Supreme Court of Virginia in choosing to nullify an election and the votes of more than three million Virginians. These Virginians made their voices heard — casting their ballots in good faith to push back against a President who said he’s “entitled” to more seats in Congress before voters go to the polls. As Governor, I will make sure voters know when and how to cast their votes this year. Because our votes are how we choose the representation we deserve.

This is one sick human being.
Nikki Haley is once again pushing some of the most deranged Oct 7 lies imaginable, so it’s a good time to remind ppl that in Jan 2025 the Israeli prosecutors in charge of trying Hamas acknowledged they had no complaints of sexual assault related to 10/7.

It’s always a mistake responding to people who hide behind fake identities but when they block you for inoffensive comments you know you’re dealing with a real profile in courage. @Fireyone

Nothing like pitching your wife’s articles. This is like selling Girl Scout cookies for your daughter.
When it comes to NATO, Trump sounds like "a man whose next call might be to his divorce lawyer," writes @sbg1. For a decade he has been looking for a pretext to break up with the allies and it looks like the Iran war may be it. newyorker.com/news/letter-fr…
