Hey @AmericanAir, I was on flt 2823 DCA to TPA 3/13 that landed in JAX for engine trouble. Grateful the pilots kept us safe! And now can’t find how to (1) get reimbursed for the rental car to get to Tampa or (2) request compensation for the 10 hr delay for a mechanical issue.

The communication from @AmericanAir at JAX was awful. A mom ran out of formula for her baby. A family with 3 kids under 5 was among those told there was no hotel availability & we’d have to sleep at the airport.

The plane coming to get us was delayed over and over again and @AmericanAir would not guarantee its arrival that night. I don’t see how there was any choice at all about renting a car. And this was all due to mechanical failure in the first place.

I'm seeing some misinterpretation of our @UNEP Emissions Gap Report. The report finds that a credible pathway to 1.5C is not *in place* under current policies/NDCs. That's not the same as saying 1.5C is now impossible. unep.org/resources/emissions…
