A German pro-nuclear activist from @Nuklearia has halted the demolition of a cooling tower by climbing a nearby transmission pylon!
This vital infrastructure, which would cost around €500 million to rebuild, is being lost while Germany continues to burn coal and delay its coal phaseout. Additionally, the country plans to build over 10 gigawatts of new gas plants.
If Germany had not phased out its nuclear plants, its grid would have produced 75% fewer carbon emissions in 2023.

One woman, #SifanHassan, is celebrated worldwide for winning an Olympic medal while promoting the hijab. At the same time, another woman, #ArezooBadri, refused to submit to Iran’s mandatory hijab. For this, the police shot at her car, leaving her paralyzed. She now lies in a hospital bed, forgotten by the world. Her photo was sent to me by her friend, trembling with fear of being arrested for sharing it.
Who will you choose to give a voice to?
We, the women of Iran, refuse to let the Islamic regime use our bodies to promote their ideology. For this defiance, we pay with our lives. But tragically, this struggle doesn’t make international headlines anymore.

Islamic Republic’s war against women. Arezoo Badri, a young woman was shot in northern Iran for not observing her mandatory hijab. Arezou, 31, has two small children but is now unable to walk! I first shared these photos and her story on July 29 on my Instagram. Still, the family members have been threatened not to speak out.
Her friends tell me Arezou was kind and full of joy. Now she is confined to a hospital bed. Attacking women has become the norm in the Islamic Republic. I call on international media to cover her story and give voice to her plight. #MahsaAmini and Armita Gravand were both killed by the same morality police for not covering her hair.

A walk through of the history between Democrats and the Middle East. Coming from the left to now being politically homeless, the “vote blue no matter who” mantra has lost its charge on critical thinkers. We need to investigate the who, the what, the where, and the why, and stop pretending that just because it isn’t the obvious evil, it isn’t still a hidden evil. Each side exercises its own evils, whether conspicuously or in the shadows. Democrats can’t continue to embolden terror regimes in the shadows and demand support at home. If they want support, they must set aside their continued contribution to jihadism and the destabilization of the Middle East, which ultimately affects us all.
