Two stone tablets were erected in 1489 & 1512 to commemorate restorations of a synagogue in Kaifeng, Henan, projects sponsored by members of Sino-Jewish communities across China. Both tablets were donated by Jews from Ningxia, an interesting fact I never knew about my hometown.
