New paper - a theoretical basis for developing running footwear technology.
We propose that running economy (in the context of footwear) is a total effect encompassing a direct mechanical effect and a biomechanically mediated effect.

This study examined prefrontal cortex (PFC) activity during #gait in adults with persisting #concussion symptoms. PFC activity was higher in those with concussion, & higher PFC activity was related to greater symptom severity and some gait characteristics. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs…
